egr temp sensor plug ?

on my 94 runner 3slow i have that extra temp sensor (i think thats what it is) on the egr valve. i want to get rid of that sensor and cap the plug like on my 92 runner. does anyone know the pn for this? or can simply connect the 2 sides of the female plug with a wire or a something conductive and just seal it up. when i remove the plug cap (cap has 2 metal male tangs) i get a cel, plug back in cel goes away. does this cap do anything specific or just complete the circuit? i hope i made some sence when i typed all this, if not ill try a few pics later.

here is a link to the electrical section where it goes on the computer. down to page 4. now as for just capping it u might be able to just jump it and fool it into thinking it at operation temp all the time but not sure why? might mess with your gas mileage or something else.

Part number for what?

Umm...yes. That "something conductive" needs to be a 10k ohm resistor though. Not just any old piece of wire. Other wise CEL/code 71.
