You'll need the efi line so that it can screw into a fuelfilter right there on your block. + u need the EFI tank for the high pressure pump

The head and cam will work, you just need everything else to make it all work.

Really? So, there's provision for the intake manifold and the EGR?

Means something provided....as in, the design of the head provides for EFI lower intake and EGR components to be attached to the head....like openings/ports and studs or bolts, etc. So, there is provision or provisions for them.

Well actually the carb and efi cam specs are different however
I would not think that you nor me could tell the difference between
them.

No they aren't, they're the same exact part#. I have the original toyota micro-fiche slides.

In a nutshell, it kinda works like a vac advance. It adjust the timing to keep you from trashing the engine. My friend bought a 93 4x4 that had a 22r in it that they put efi on. When he would hit 2grand the check engine light would come on and it would loose power. It threw knock sensor code and engine was dead in two months. I wouldnt do it.

Usually not. Usually you start off fine then get a sudden power drop anywhere from 1500 to 2000 rpm and a check engine light. It usually does it every time you dirve it. The power drop in my friends truck was very noticable, like he lost 5o horses.
