Okay, so the previous owner of my '92 4Runner SR5 installed and "AutoPage" alarm system with keyless entry and auto start. Today I was getting in for lunch and forgot about the keyless entry and opened the drivers door manually (my old truck didn't have such luxuries) and ever since I can't get the electric locks inside the truck to work, if the door is unlocked and you try to lock it it will sort of seize and then stay unlocked and the same happens when locked.
Does anyone know what this is or has anyone ever encountered this issue?

this might help a little bit tho its not quite the same i installed a set of poppers on my 81 pickup and i found if i tried popping the door open while it was locked it would jam theres a metal tab that gets logged in the door lock mechanism id say pop the door panel off and take a look i ended up just pulling the lock mechanism out dont have to worry about locking them ne more any ways hope it helps
