draining coolant

I have been searching for the best way to drain my coolant, all I could come up with was drain, refill w/h20...just wondering if the drain, refill with distilled water, repeat, method will get all the coolant out?

I'm going to use some of that HG sealant crap and just want to make sure all the coolants out.

Also seems like a great time to switch to the toyota red stuff, anyone know off hand how much I'll need to fill the coolant system back up 50/50?
