that is normal, it is just one of the by-products of combustion. Plus very little petrol that isnt burned off

h2o is a natural byproduct of complete combustion. Also sometimes water can get into the muffler etc. Unless its a large amount, or you're noticing other things then its probably not an issue.

It also comes from condensation formed by hot engine exhaust cooling off rapidly through a cooler tail pipe

from what i have heard a few times, its fromt the catalytic converter, it seperates all the nasty fumes and liquid water is formed. i dont know exactly, but thats what i hear.

Don't taste it anymore LOL, just smear it around between your fingers & smell it. If it feels oily or smells strongly of fuel there's a problem. The few drip you're describing sounds like normal condensation.
