Does anybody have MegaSquirt base maps?

I have the AEM UEGO wide band set up and already installed, and I have MegaSquirt on order. I already have another set up of stock ECU wiring harness adaptors, so when MS gets in i can just wire it up using all the stock inputs..I'm looking to see if anyone has any base maps set up that i could possiblt steal, or if anybody knows a website, or forum for that matter, that will have these? I must say tho, that Toyota has a very well setup base map for these 22REs Thanks in advance guys

Yes, and No.

At this very second, no I am not. The motor is stock, but I am trying to get the truck completely set up so when I swap in my built motor, I am 100 percent ready to go. That meaning, rear end built, transmission swapped, stand alone installed, intercooler routed, so forth and so on. As for the YES part, I am. I have a motor that still stands in the machine shop waiting to finished, so it can be back at the house and finished assembled. This motor is running high boost out of a decent sized turbo, but for now I am looking for some MS maps just to see if I can pull any more power from the stock motor. I like to play around and see what I'm working with. I also have personal access to a dyno, so I am going to be doing some base pulls with stock motor/ecu, stock motor/stand alone, then the turbo motor, etc.

New thread becuase most people won't be interested in this thread, I doubt many have read it.

And yes, I have seen that website. There are a few things I will be doing differently, but for the most part it'll all be the same outcome. I could be seeing wrong, but his highest dyno graph was 390hp and 391tq, which is not too bad for the small turbo he is running. I'm shooting for 400+ on a GT35R @ 20psi +/- a few.

Thanks for the input guys

and not to detract anything from the discussion here, but wouldn't asking for maps be more suitable on the megasquirt forums?

Yes. But I'm not a part of that board yet, and because I am a part of multiple threads, it doesn't hurt to post up in the random places. Abe, you never know when somebody has information that you need- it often comes in the most random of places, thats all. Hell, I posted the same thread on my dirt bike forum (ThumperTalk.com), and received some decent feedback. I knew I was shooting a blank asking for maps, knowing nobody will have them, but I did receive a link to a site that has custom set up- which is what I needed.

Thanks.

Take a look at the Celica GT-s forums. They run 22REs and a few of the guys are running some crazy setups.

Look here at the engine and drivetrain section. Dont overlook the stickeys...

I just threw it out there a possible contact for a base map. I looked on the MS-Extra forums and not a whole lot of 22RE hits came back. It was mostly about hooking up spark control with the VAST system.

Also as a general FYI to anyone insterested, DIYAutoTune has a nice MegaSquirt/22RE installation writeup here, including someone's email near the bottom with an offer of sending out a 22RTE map.

OTOH, it shouldn't be that hard to iron out a tune if you have a wideband. It will just be more work than not starting from scratch.
