Do you weld at your place? There is a group of Phx locals that are looking to get some stuff welded.

I'd love to come and give a hand , but down here in the cow pastures (dirt fields) of Maricopa is quite the hull to north Phoenix... If there was something more centralized it'd be great. I can weld, but they are not prettiest at times but the do hold up to abuse....

I'm getting one of those Sonoran Steel IFS Braces this week and it can be bolted on, but I'd much prefer to weld it if somoene can do that for me.

Yes I do have a welder and I'll be welding my sliders on this week that I just finished building. Let me know if you need some help. I thought Sonoran Steel was out of the IFS rear trusses?

i wouldn't complain too much about a drive. You guys live closer to each other than I do. I have too drive 3hrs one way to get to phoenix. Count youself lucky man.

Would you weld it on for me?? I can come by your place whenever is good for you. And, of course I'll be more than happy to compensate you for it.

jeff: I believe we could do it, and if you don't mind helping me pull the front third, so that I can finish my gear swap. Man what a difference with the new gears in the rear. The hamster has power again..... I work till Wed on 12's. But Thurs, Fri or Sat is open between me working on my 4Runner. Give me a PM

I would bolt it on. So you can get the diff out and work on the truck easier.

good call Jeff, I was wondering why you'd want it welded on. Just use grade 8 bolts and some lock tight. If you still need a hand let me know......

I guess I didn't think it through - I was just thinking that in general its better to weld something than bolt it.
