Differentials, what to do?

Just thought I'd give this a try, anybody out there have any knowledge regarding Tacoma front diffs? Mine seized up the other night and it sounded horrific. Are they easy to rebuild? Is it worth it? How are they to remove from the chassis? If anyone has any feedback it would be greatly appreciated! Or else it's Tundra time for me. Thanks!!

They aren't hard to remove, just heavy. I'd ask in the Tacoma section of the forum for more details. Just replace it with a junk yard diff.

Yeah I would but they aren't exactly in abundance here in the Western Canada! Also the truck has 420,000kms but still runs strong as ever, my concern was once the front was changed with a fewer mile gear set the rear and other compenents might start to fail in slow sequence.
