Diesel swap question
Hi, do you think that it would be possible to swap a 1KZ-TE 3,0TD from a Land Cruiser 1999 (R150F) in to a 1995 4Runner 3VZ-E, 5-sp?
What tranny is it in the 4Runner?
Would it be a difficult swap?
Thanks for your op.!

i know that you can use A 3.0L TD BUT what i dont know is if you can use such a new one, cause i know that the 4Runners/surfs came in a 3.0 turbo D from 1989-current so i would tihnk that you can, i got a brand new motor from Toyota its a 3.0L Turbo D for those years of 4runners. hope this helps

If you have all electric parts and ecu, than yes.
I would stick with a manual tranny like the R150F from the 4R. The prado or LC has the front diff offset to the other side so you cannot use the 1KZ-TE tranny.
