Diagonose My 4Runner Video

Hey everyone...

Very dissapointed, After gettin my timing chain kit complete replaced, my engine sounds like a deisil. There is a knocking at idle below the front of the valve cover. I can't possibly see how this could have happend, The engine works better then before, fast, good accelleration good idle......

I'm stumped at this sound and i'm praying its not the chain rubbing on the cover.... After all , how could the chain rub on anything??? It's got new guides, new tensioner,

I took it to my buddy at the garage, he was stummped too, with the stethescope on there, the sound wasn't comming from the valves....it's isolated down to somewhere below the valve cover.

Where the hell is this sound comming from??????/?? And does anyone know anything about screwing up a timing job and the potential outcome????Here

maybe you tightened that crucial bolt on the tensioner too much, leaving your chain with no tension?

sounds pretty violent for timing chain slop to me...it must be really loose

i would have thought main bearings
