Angry Death wOobBLe

I just did a knuckle rebuild with all new bearings etc. on a 89 4runner sas and then the wobble was still there, but instead of 35 it's 45 mph so it helped, but wasn't the solution, and my knuckle bearings were destroyed on the drivers side so i thought i had it solved for sure.

Then heard a clicking from my drive shaft, was absolutely positive I had found the cure to my death wobble! Just finished replacing all the u joints two hours ago, once again the repair helped, and my u joints were badly chipped, worn and damaged, but the death wobble still remains at large.

Anyone have any idea's, suggestions, or personal experience with this? It happens only when i hit uneven ground, pot holes and such, so i can get up to 55 if i find really really flat streets, but then i will eventually hit something uneven and my car shakes VIOLENTLY out of control. this is not a shake or small shimmy, but a DEATH WOBBLE

I also replace the tie rod end bushings/boots. but did not get an alignment check, but i dont think its alignment because it didn't do it before. the tires are freshly balanced, and they do not sound out of round at any speeds.

I'm planning on adjusting the steering box gears because there is a lot of play in the steering. and i need a steering stabilizer, but will not get one until i find this problem.

This isn't very relevant but if anyone knows how to internally destroy a battery so that it will get the warranty still, please help me out. Have an unused battery for my girls car but we totaled it and it was a week old!

I have no recommendations for this particular situation, other than recommending not to ask how to do it on a public forum.

Have you rolled the axle to fix pinion angle? If so you could have reduced the caster by too much. This will cause the steering to be unstable. Just a thought

I'm not too worried about a 100 dollar battery fraud cause they could just take my working battery and trade it for the one i need, but they wont until its ruined!

I didnt think of the angle. Should i take a picture of the diff? i'm going to right now so you can all see what I am

Red face

Put on the new steering stabilizer that will more then likely cure your problem. Unless you have some thing major you don`t see.

take the battery back tell them you bought the wrong one.

or sell it and buy the one you need after all it is only a $ 100.00 or so.

Let me rephrase my recommendation. Don't ask about it on here. Value is irrelevant.

Hook the battery to the vehical then leave the lights on until the battery is completely dead. Then stick it in the freezer. Oh and drain all the battery fluid out and rub it on your face and then fill the battery with 2% milk
