Daytime running lights

I have a 1990 2door runner and it does not have daytime running lights. Is there an easy way to wire this up??

i guess you could find the wire that turns the lights on and wire a constant "on" to the ignition, kinda like your stereo... but its just easier to spin the switch... why do you want DTRLs??

You probably need the little control box of a truck with DTRL that sits under the ash tray.

It would be a lot easier to just turn on your lights I think.

I put these in any US-spec cars that are being imported and do not already have daytime's.

Canadian Tire sells 'em for $40. Hooks to your battery and ground, two outputs (marker lights and headlights, or L & R headlights for European cars w/separate circuits). About 90 mins for a clean install. Uses a wire that wraps around a plug wire to detect the engine running, then turns the lights on about 4 seconds after startup.

Or, I'll run a Bosch relay under the dash that mimic's turning the headlights on as soon as the key is turned to "RUN". For cars with Coil-On-Plug ignition, this is easier.
