dash lights

how do your dash brake indicator light and 4wd indicator light work?i am adding a custom dash and I cannot find a power wire for these . they worked before I removed the original dash cluster.

They're powered through the gauge fuse.

The 4wd indicator is grounded through the selector switch and ADD switch in series; wire is Green-Yellow.

The brake light is grounded through the parking brake switch and the brake fluid level switch in parallel. Wire is Green-White.

This is for a '94. Is yours a '94?

mine is an 87. they worked fine until I ntook out the oem dash and created a custom dash. got some small led indicators for the t/s , high beam,4wd and brake indicator. I have identified all wires except for the 4wd and brake indicator.all fuses are good.
