CV Joint change.

My truck's cv boots have been off since I bought the thing.
My mechanic said I'm gonna need to change them soon and get boots on them,
and there's a guy near me that has a set from his old IFS, but it's off an '88 4Runner and mines a 2nd gen '92.
My question is; Will these CV Joints fit in mine w/o any serious mods???

Yes they will fit.
Most if not all IFS parts on the 1st and 2nd gen 4runners and the 2nd and 3rd gen trucks (correct me if I'm wrong about the 3rd gen trucks still a little foggy on the years for them) are interchangeable. Toyota ran the same IFS set up from 86 to 95 to my knowledge.
