custom exhaust question?

I was wondering if my exhaust setup will cause any problems for my truck. I have the stock manifold and about a foot after my oxygen sensor I have a glasspack muffler and my tailpipe exits in front of my rear tire. I have replaced the oxygen sensor and the air flow meter and I was wondering if my exhaust setup was the cause of replacing these things? (Oh yeah, no catalytic converter, I know illegal but oh well.)

It's a 1994 std cab, swb, 2wd pickup with a 22re. It's stock except for a k&n filter and the exhaust. I replaced those things because the check engine light came on and gave me those codes. It cleared the codes but I'm wondering if I'm going to have the same problem sooner than I want due to the exhaust being too open maybe. I read somewhere that if you reduce the back pressure too much it will cause problems with emission stuff.

From what I have heard the 22re has problems with the cat being off they seem to like the backpressure.

I wouldnt worry about the cat too much....sounds like you might need a muffler...Is it a new glasspack?

i run no cat on mine w/out any problems so i dont think a glasspack caused your AFM to go bad (o2 sensor wear out )
