Cranks but no Start
1987 4Runner. Stock EFI. Just replaced Cylinder head (again). After all put together, cranked, started, and ran for maybe 10 seconds. Stopped and now will crank but will not start.
Pretty sure I have fuel pressure, releasing the pressure regulator on the fuel rail produces a fine spray of gasoline.
Verified all plug wires good (brand new) and connected. Verified coil/igniter connected. Rotor in distributor not broken (brand new). All 3 grounds in engine compartment well grounded. Not 180 degrees out of ignition timing. Cam timing dead on. New plugs.
Checked all fuses that I could find - all OK. TPS hooked up. MAF hooked up.
The way it quit running seemed like a fuse popping - it just quit. No sputtering or bad idling.
Truck was running/starting fine before cylinder head replaced, so nothing (well not much) should have changed?
Help?

Distributor driveshaft broke! Damnit! Now the shaft is well and truly wedged into the head and it looks like the head has to come off again to remove distributor. And even then, if the area where the end of the shaft rides in the head is galled up, than I need a new head.
Sheesh. What can go wrong with this build has gone wrong...
Any ideas on removing broken distributor? I have tried a pry bar against the far end of the shaft, all that does is damage the cylinder head where I am prying against.
