Crank pulley removal

Mine is on there solid. I tried gently prying on it with no movement. Tapped it with a rubber mallet a few times and nothing. I'm hoping I dont have to buy a tool to get it loose

They should just slide off. No puller is needed. If really on there tight, spary some PB Blaster on the crank snout and let it soak it.
Make sure the key way is not bent up and is preventing it from letting it come out.

Mine was pretty dang tight but I gave it a few whacks around it's perimeter front and back and it came right off. Rubber or wooden mallet would be ideal. The real trick is to keep at it from every angle as it will "rock" off after awhile.

You can see the end of the key; VERY gently tap it in. If it moves, that might be your problem. If it doesn't move with very gentle tapping, leave it alone.
