body lines don't really match up very well...
on the drivers side next to the operating lights you can see the grill kind of pokes up...
tbh i really liked the way the stock grills look...

i got it from a junk yard for $16 had to chop the sides and some of the orignal mounts. i used sheetmeale skrews, L brakets and gorilla glue to make my my own mounts, taped them into the body, re painted the black with a few coats and it was done. my stock grill had some broken mounts and only three or so were holding it on it vibritated when it ideled, so its gone now.

No tech problems, just Fink playing mod and pushing the wrong buttons.
I tried to merge the two threads but then they disappeared.

I think it would have turned out better if you could have used a 90-91 4runner grill or 86-95 pickup grill since those already used the sealed beam headlights.

I put a 93 grille on my friends 87 p/u, it went right on, most of the tabs didn't line up & of course the corners don't line up perfect but it did go on.

Which was, 3 months isnt bad for a thread revival...!

But if it concerns you so much, SORRY for the thread revival, I didnt know Some people were anal about 3 months that's gone by...!

IMO better to revive a old thread rather that starting a new useless thread and wasting space. Don't you think...?

I gotta agree with the "original looks better" crowd but you cant beat the feeling of modding it yourself and for $16..Custom baby..
