control arm swap?
After some soul searching, I don't want to lift my truck. I trail run and play in mud.
For the sake of making it look pretty, could I just swap out the stock control arms for the pro-comp arms that come with the kit?
I'm going to get the procomp gas shocks and a few other procomp toys, so I may as well keep the aesthetics and swap out the control arms too.
Possible?
Safe?

If you don't you'll must likely be overcompressing the shocks (bottoming them out) as the axles flex. That's about the fastest way in the world to kill a shock.

its true
ya, trust me I had longer shocks for like a week cause the springs I bought were the wrong size stupid store! anyway I had all the shocks and crap on already so I just left it till I got my new springs... rode like a piece of literal rock. no shock absorbing at all. and as for control arms... if they are the rod end ones, make sure you get some bushings for em or all you will feel is every vibration you never knew your drive shaft and axle made. lol i tell ya whoever invented bushings knew what they were doin
