cold starting issues 22re

hi guys i'm new to toyotas and i have a starting issue.Its a 88 4x4 22re.Its been starting and running fine and yesterday it was below 0 and it turned over and fire but would not run. after about ten minutes it fires up and runs.did the same thing today.i kept trying it today every couple hours and would run fine.any ideas

Look into the cold start injector system.

where would that be located? I,m also getting code 51 switch signal

Code 51 has to do with your TPS which can cause drivability concerns like hard starting, rough idle and so on.

well adjusted the tps no more code 51,but no real cold weather to see if it still have a starting fit.thanks James for the info.

the cold start injector doesn't necessarily imply its for cold weather. its for when your engine is cold (as in hasnt been started yet).
