Clutch Slave Cylinder Leak

Good day 4runners!.. We had an island hopping in the beach here in the Philippines, before going home, i checked and noticed the clutch fluid reservoir below minimum... During the trip home, the clutch pedal was so soft and like it has no pressure, luckily we ran through a gas station when the clutch pedal was stuck in and would not return.. so i bought clutch fluid, refilled reservoir and bleeded clutch line, but the slave cylinder under the car was leaking and it was the source of the reduction of clutch fluid in the resrvoir.. any insights on the leak?.. maybe a damaged rubber cup or rubber boot?... thanks!

I think you have two problems going on here.
1) the clutch pedal should have a return spring so it never be "stuck in"- it should return to "normal" when you take your foot off the pedal
2) you have a fluid leak at the slave cylinder- they're cheap so replace it.

my pedal has a return spring, but it stuck in because there was no pressure from the line because the fluid emptied and air was in the line, but when we bleeded, it returned to normal, also planning to replace slave cylinder.. thanks
