Clutch replacement questions
Hey guys I am going to do my clutch this weekend and I wanted to know how many people replace the clutch fork boot when doing their clutch? I know mine is pretty rough but this is the last weekend I have available for awhile and no one around has a clutch fork boot in stock. I just wanted to know if its important to replace if the original is worn out or if it can be lleft go.

Mine didnt want to seal back up to the bellhousing after my clutch job. IT caused water to get in and put surface rust over the little pivot inside...
I ended up using clear RTV to seal it all up. That was 6 months ago, fixed!!

So I ordered the boot from the local dealer but it won't be here in time so I'm going to have the mechanic throw the old one on for now. How hard is it to pop the old one off and put a new one on once I get it back. It seems like it would be easy but I was just wondering if its more involved then I would think. Thanks Guys
