Clutch banging while disengaging..?

I installed a new exedy clutch, stock flywheel, new clutch slave cyl, and throwout on my 87 pickup several months ago.. And now that im driving it the clutch often bangs/ makes a clunk while im letting the clutch out. Its quite annoying and i was wondering why it would be doing that. Its usually going from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd.. and clunks when the clutch is almost all the way out.. i dont think it really does it on the downshifts too much.. but it does sometimes. What could be making it do this? Thanks for any ideas..

Loose trans mounts? Loose bellhousing? Some poorly designed discs can make noise. Like toyotas re-designed crap that they are selling now for the 3.4. I'd suggest using an aisin brand clutch. Got mine from Marlin Crawler

Aisin > exedy

if you notice almost everythign in your rig is covered with the word "aisin" if it's last this long why wouldn't a new one last another 20-30 years?
