Check Engine After New Axle ? What >?
Well the repairs and upgrades are on going, and this may be purely coicidence but after getting a new front left axle installed today, i was rolling home in the runner. The check engine light came on for about 30 seconds, then went out and did not come on again.
Does anyone know what would cause an intermitent check engine light... and for the love the love of god tell me this has nothing to do with my new axle.
Thanks again everyone !

I can`t tell you why the check engine light came on and then went out, but i can tell you that it had nothing to do with having the new axle installed.

Jump terminals TE1 and E1 in the diagnosis box next to the fuse block in the engine bay with a paper clip. Turn key in ignition to "ON" but dont start it. Count the number of flashes. if it flashes continuously every second, there is no code stored.
