Changing brake pads on an 88 4Runner
I have got the drivers side done but i cannot get the two pins out of the passenger side. I am using a liberal amount of PB and a hammer. They are not budging for anything. I appear to just be screwing up the pins. Any ideas?

You are kidding right? Did you remove the retaining clips? Are you trying to drive them out the RIGHT direction? Had to ask.
If they are THAT bad then might be time for a new set of calipers.

Ha Ha yes Brian I did remove the clips, and I am going in the RIGHT direction. The drivers side came out fine and I was done pretty quick. The passenger side clips are frozen.
BTW-I received the sliders! They are awesome!

I had the same problem the first time I changed my pads.
I had to take the caliper off so I could put it on a solid support and hit the pins REALLY hard with a hammer and punch.
Just couldn't hit them hard enough when they were on the truck.
Although I had no trouble hitting my hand repeatedly.
I cleaned up the pins with emory cloth and put neverseize on them. No problems since.
