Chain slipping in t-case?
So I've decided to keep my '91 and fix whatever is wrong with it. Now, what's wrong with it?
I really feels like the gears are slipping somewhere in the driveline (kinda like a bicycle chain when it's loose, and you pedal too hard.) I really need to get this thing back on the road soon due to other situations. Don't feel safe trying to drive it anywhere right now, but I do need to move it. Best guess on the jerking would be the t-case, but I am unfamiliar in this area.

75% sure it's not the clutch. like i said, this popping started when there was backwards torque on the engine, (at speed and let off gas). it has progressed to happening during acceleration. I can hold the shifter of the t-case and feel it, but not on the trans.
