CB location

Hey guys not sure if there's a thread like this But!! I just picked up a CB for my 89 yota,would like some input even pictures of how and where some of you have placed and or bolted you CB,,,THANKS!!

there is a lot of stuff, ask the google with 'yotatech' in the search query.
There are a lot of different places, based on the size and whatnot. Here is where I put mine on my 90 4runner

If its the size of a regular stereo just put it in where the plastic cup is now under radio if its one of the little ones mount it on the dash

Thanks for the input,,how about running the coax cable to the bed of the truck for antenna,,don't know where I should drill holes

Don't need to drill holes in the body just run it thru one of the plastic drain caps under the carpet if you have an extra cab there's a notch in the bottom corner of the under seat storage get It thru that then just drill thru the plastic cap in there and your out. Nice also cause you won't have to worry about the wire chafing on sharp metal

I have a larger Galaxy CB and I mounted it on the back shelf of my extra cab between the two bucket seats. It works great, and its out of my way when I'm not using it. I actually have two radios mounted on the shelf, I'll get a picture when I get by my truck.

x2, I ran all my coax through two existing holes in the back wall. The rubber grommets make for nice guards to keep the wire from being cut by the metal.

i did the same thing with my 92 4runner ripped out ashtray trimmed some plastic and fits perfect
