Catalytic converter flow direction?

I have a 1994 toyota pickup,2.4L. I am replacing the catalytic converter and the new one doesnt have the flow direction on it,does it matter? I called the autoparts store I got it from and they were thinking it didnt matter if it wasnt marked? Any help would be appreciated!

Usually, if the cat is supposed to be installed in one direction , its labeled.
Some have to go in one way and others it doesnt matter which way they are installed,

Cats a bi-directional. You can mount them forward, backwards, or upside down if you really wanted. It doesn't matter which way the gasses flow in a Toyota cat.

They do mark stock cats with an arrow, though that is because the flanges can be different sizes on some of them.
