Umm yes, but I sure would not!

The best plug to run in any vehicle is the plug the factory put in it.

ETA: I am sure someone is going to complain and say they use Plutonium, laser, quad fire, plugs and they work fine. Many time the an engine is designed around a particular spark plug. Or hundreds of hours go into finding a plug that will produce the most efficient burn in a particular combustion chamber.

There is no point in reinventing the wheel, a basic Nippon Denso, or NGK plug that it calls for will run better than any expensive plug you can find, and they are cheaper.

Um, both are copper core plugs.

Taken from NGK site: http://www.ngk.com/product.aspx?zpid=9325

"Most spark plugs contain a copper core for increased conductivity, improved heat control and improved resistance to fouling."

I tried Bosch platinum plugs, gas mileage suffered. I think it was 10-20 miles less per tank.
