CAD 1987 Toyota Pickup
I've searched and haven't been able to find anything...Well, I found a simple one for just the exterior of an '85 but it definitely wasn't free.
Does any one out there know where to find a CAD file that you could download of a 80's Pickup? Specifically an '87 but at this point I'd take any first gen.
I'd like to be able to import it into AutoDesk Inventor and then edit and add to it to create 3D models of say a truck rack, or bumpers, etc. before I fab them up.
Thanks for your help!!

You could start here: http://personal.utulsa.edu/~nathan-b...13bodydime.pdf
These are 3-dimensional distances, so I'm not sure how you could convert that into 3d-coordinates. Which is probably what you'd need for something like bumpers.
Also, I don't think that the position of the sheet metal is deterministic, so it might not be "perfect" for roof racks. But for the same reason, a roof rack would have to be designed with some adjustment anyway.
Good luck!
