Is your system overcharged causing it to freeze? Moisture in the system causing it to freeze?
Might be expansion valve failure.
Might be your heater control valve isn't sealing all the way.
Could also be your compressor switch and/or ac coolant pressure related.
Worst case, your compressor is failing and not getting to pressure? But it should be more manifest at low than high speeds I'd think. Unless it's a problem with the clutch/friction plate not engaging at high speeds.
AC systems are a pain... Parts excluding the compressor are cheap.
I guess drive at speed and then pop the hood and check your lines to see if they're icing up or warm to start. Trouble shoot from there. If icing up, remove coolant, or have system fully evacuated and moisture removed -- fancy machine looking something like a mini fridge on wheels in better equipped shops that removes moisture and sediment rather than just a little compressor/vacuum pump.
