Buying 1st toyota

Hello im looking at buying my 1st toyota {95 ish pathfinder}so i nee to know is it true that the 22r motors are better and more realible than the v6s? and what is cood compression on the two?

you need to do some research first...

but for the most part yes the 22r and 22re are very reliable and good engines.

the 3.0 isn't too good, but Toyota will fix the gasket problem for you...

but 3.4 is also a very reliable engine with a few more ponies.(probably one of the best so far for Toyota)

yea... the 22r and 22re are great. however, the 3.4L im drivin now is awesome. WAY awesome. if possible, id go for it over a 22re. but dont get me wrong. the 22re was a GREAT engine. just 2/3's the engine.

Dead '94 2.4L 22re 2wd pu, k&n air filter, thrush glasspack, 4in over stock rear shackles, 1.5in ball joint spacers, 4in infinity reference dash speakers, pioneer head unit, 10in p2 sub, alpine amp. bed cap topper thingy. great for campin.

Current-2004 toyota tacoma, 2wd, 3.4L, prerunner, e-locker, tow package, trd package, ext cab, alpine head unit, polk speakers all around, punch p2 10" run off a alpine mono amp, silver paint. ohhhh its purty...
