BUSHWACKER QUESTIONS and pics wanted!
hey again.....
slowly making my way on my 94 4x4....
I just recently came across these extended flares which I think look great. but did have some questions I was hoping someone can help me with!
Also hoping people would post some pics of their rigs with these on them to help out.
How do they install? my OEM ones install uderneath with screws...but I noticed these bushwackers have bolt holes up top... Do they screw into the body making it unreversable to take off without bolt holes in the sides?
Do they look funny with non-oversized tires? I know they are meant for tire coverage but I am not to the point of bigger tires yet but would like to go ahead with extended flares if possible... Its my understanding you have to remove OEM running boards for these to work?
any info is greatly appreciated...

Unless you need them to avoid Johnny Law I wouldnt recommend them.....
When they get ripped off on the trail it aint pretty...I've seen them practically take an entire quarter panel off a truck

Unless you are going with a wide tire/rim combo, dont do it. It looks pretty darn silly. Those flares don't look good unless you are running a big lift and BIG tires.

cool, thanks guys... First off, that rig above is f!@# kick a$$!!! Flares look great.
I have mixed feelings on the looks (w/ or w/o bigger tires)... to each his own....
Can I run a bigger tire (somewhat) with the same 15" factory wheel? I am wanting to take off the boards, def. on the list.
thanks for the pics...I had seen a couple before, but not as close up.
well, if anyone has some flares for a 95, pm me...
thanks again guys, this stuff helps alot

lol, it's just mallcrawler... he needs the step tubes so his old lady can get in it; look at how clean it is; my truck hasn't been that clean since I first got it!
... at leat the pic proves he can jump curbs though...
I'd like to get a set of these fender-Xtenders my self, but like mentioned above, I'm getting a little widers tires first, because they do look kinda funny sticking out 3 inches away from the rest of the truck with nothing underneeth them

One of my rear bushwackers was ripped off two weekends ago while wheeling, so now both rears are off. The front two are still on, but will shortly be replaced by tube. If you're going to wheel your vehicle, pass on the flares as it will be a waste of $200+ on a part that will not last (but they look good).
By the way, if you are interested in a front pair with herculiner on them, PM me...

ITs a shame about the T-birds, i always wanted a pair, they look pretty beefy so i always thought they would do good. Anywho i did research ike crazy (like i do before most purchases) but all i have heard is pure crap tires, both on and off road, therefore im glad i read about them first! This was a long time ago, since then....
Changed to wanting trxus m'ts or bfg muds!
Anywho, back on topic, the flares look alright imo, but i just saw a set on a heep that were ripped off on one side and it looked BAD, not even worth the money IMO if there is a chance they get ripped off.
