Building one truck from two?

we have the Technology, we can rebuild it

ok i was looking around on my local classified web site and i found this http://www.usedpei.com/classified-ad/8549947 it looks pretty clean and since my 4runner is a half completed engine swap gone wrong with a good tranny i could make 2 POS into a real truck. what do you think, i could use my mechanic friends shop to look at it and get him to say some thing that are in my favor and get the price lowered.

I may be young, but I totally get the subject line reference.

I'd say go for it. Get a new tranny and swap it! for $1800 you can have a nice truck.

Sounds like a good deal, even if you take 2 to make 1 then you still have spare parts!!

Where you thinking to replace the tranny in the 4 runner? Or build the truck up? Just make sure you check everything out on the truck.

"will need backside of rockers,3 small spots on rear frame fixed" -- Sounds like something i would definitely check!

x2 on the spare parts...LOVE havin a extra truck layin around to tear apart.

also this may be much better suited for your needs, it's cheaper, same engine, and it's a 4Runner instead of a pickup so it would have much more useable spare parts.
