Budbuilt plate. HOLY SMOKES!!!!!

I was a little reserved about dropping 200$ on a simple t-case cross member but I'll tell you what, I'm damn glad I did! It arrived today and it is freaking HEAVY!!!! This weekend I get to install it and gain a little bit of distance between the rocks and my t-case and a LOT of confidence.

Well done Bud, well done indeed!

just wondering, how do the budbuilt skids lift the t-case? i mean, i know that they probably rotate the way that the t-case sits, but i didnt know if the t-case needs to be indexed, or is it a direct weekend bolt on...

The plate doesn't "lift" the t-case. It installs in place of the factory rock anchor and is only about an inch thick, of course that inch is all steel. It gives you more clearance (spelling?). After I slammed the factory cross member on a rock several months back and loosened all my teeth in the process I figured it was time for an upgrade. They also provide a low profile drain bolt so you don't tear the factory one out of the t-case. The old one will go in the goodie bag just in case I do something dumb.

My camera was stolen when the house was broken into so I'll have to go buy one for pics. I'll try and do so when I do the install. If you plan on putting armor on your rig I highly recommend the Budbuilt plate.

They had to be crack heads. I lost a camera, an X box, 35 computer games and my grand fathers .41 Mag Ruger 3 screw Blackhawk (<-- that one hurt since I've had it for 22 years). It was the one day that my 80lb German Shepard wasn't in the house, if Scout had been here we would have had maimed crack heads all over the yard.

I was underneath an 85 with a dual Inchworm T case and a Bud Built crossmember and I could NOT believe how beefy that thing was. It was like 1/4" thick!! The guy who owned the truck told me he had to use a floor jack to hold it in place to set it up. ahhaha
I def want one when I put in a dual T case.
