broken bolt on egr...
ok i have a broken bolt where the egr pipe meets the intake manifold on the back. My engine runs fine but i checked to see if i have a leak there(sprayed carb/intake cleaner in the area) and the truck idles up when i do so. Other than that i have no cel codes throwing nor seem to have any other issues at all. My question is can i leave it like this for a week for i need my vehicle and wont have the time to fix it as of yet. Will i damage anything in the mean time driving it like this?

Why couldn't you leave it like that for a week? You could probably leave it like that until the truck dies. Only draw back is its sucking unfiltered air into the engine.

oh I see. I'm no expert or anything. lol.
And my bolt is stripped on the opposite side so it won't close all the way so I used a bunch of gasketmaker type stuff...haha
