I'll get some pics up when they're loaded to the PC.

I did for the guide rails and tensioner, but it's really not necessary at all for the cover....if you meant that, also. Nothin's goin' nowhere's, I tell ya!

You're welcome for the pics. I've got more...just takin' kind of a breather from the whole thing.

Thanks, Pete. The pics make the red look more brilliant than it is. Probably the lighting. But, it's still looks great in the truck since it's red, too. I chose it because it was more of the red I was looking for over the Ford, Chevy, Chrysler colors. Not too loud....not too dull.

Like I said.....more pics to come of the complete deal. By the time I can get around to having them loaded up, I'll have made a couple of "bling" changes. I'll get pics of that, too.

Thanks guys....

Thanks, Gary. There's just one problemo. I've a vacuum leak somewhere, so she's acting up. All I can figure is the EGR valve has stuck open because.....well....all the gaskets are new and I sealed it up tight. And, the vac lines are all routed correctly (not that there are that many) and none have holes....so....I'm going to start by blocking off the EGR system entirely and then on to other "unneccessary" vacuum driven items, if that doesn't do the trick. Frustrating....I'm so ready to be done.

Other than that, she feels solid.

Well, it wasn't the EGR valve, but I made the block off plates and had enough of an ordeal getting the valve off, on, and finding short enough bolts that wouldn't bottom out using the plates that I'm just going to not hook the EGR back up and instead leave the plates on. I even took out all the vac hoses for it and the modulator and the bimetal valve....and took the modulator off!

Sooooo.....the leak was either the cold start injector or the hidden cracking I found in the crevice of the flex tube to the throttle body. I resealed the CSI and put a nice layer of RTV over the cracking. Now, she idles a tad low at first.....warm, but higher when cold....and continues to rise and stay there at.....I'm guessing....1k-1200rpm. I have no way of accurately knowing as I don't have a tach. Just feels and sounds too high. I'll address that at another point.

But! Let me say......she has ALOT more pep than before I rebuilt. Wow! Instant throttle response and have to give her less pedal to get her going and keep going. I'm liking this. Let that be a lesson, oh fellow rebuilders. GET YOUR INJECTORS REFURBISHED!!!. And, no vacuum leaks would help...
