Break in oil and procedure
So I just built up my 22r and am installing it My concern is
#1 what oil should I run when doing the initial break in of the cam and for the first 500 miles?
#2 what procedure should I do? 20 minutes 2000 rpm's, then change oil?
I asked my machine shop and they said they carry a oil that pour in then break in the cam and keep that same oil in it for 500 miles.
Please any and all input would be great as I need to know asap.
Thank you.

1: regular dino oil
2: I broke in my cam by driving it like I stole it for about 100 miles, then I changed my oil. then changed again at 500 miles

I was told 10-30. I just rebuilt my motor and it is still full with the original refill oil and filter. I am going to change it in about 50 miles once I can drive this new rebuild. I have Chevron 10-30 waiting in the wings to use until 500 miles at which time I will start running Amsoil under regular change intervals. I also put magnets on my filter and oil pan near drain plug to capture anything left over from rebuild.
