So I bought this great price and quality couldn't be happier but I'm 18 first truck is 1993 pickup and I've never done a headlight install with the HID wires contacted the seller they said go to a pro body shop. (Not gonna happen)
There's no instructions they gave me
And asked they just gave me a stupid diagram

But really I do hate these lights, if you need lights this bright you might be better off spending the 100$ on glasses.

There is a whole thread on lighting upgrades, pretty sure it covered these projector housings?

Is this the schematic they gave you?

If so I agree it's a pretty useless diagram leaves a lot to be desired like full labels

If your not prepared to do this, correctly, you need to go to a GOOD shop. And I'll add everyone on the road in front of you will be less likely to follow you and smash out your lamps if you aim them down abit further.

Basicly you might have to swap some wires at the PnP harness you boughts relay so it works in switched ground mode. And maybe some fiddling around to get the high beam indicator to work correctly.

Yes they gave me that diagram. No I don't need glasses I personally enjoy these lights. It doesn't seem to be to bad. There's grounds and I just need to layout and figure where I put my wire going to my battery.

I looked at those lights - along with some others - but they are not DOT approved due to the lack of proper cut-offs. Great for off-road, not so great if you become yet another knob on the road hoping you get flashed so you can blind people with your even brighter hi-beams. Back to your original question, there's actually some great threads here on doing this yourself with excellent schematics, just do a quick search.

Post up pictures or diagrams of the relay connections, and someone can help you with the "switched ground" change. Assuming you plug them in and they don't switch off. The other minor issue is the indicator light, thats well covered in the lighting thread I linked.

New lights shine bright even though I have yet to do the HID kit. Had some trouble with the light harness had to stretch and bend since these are a few cm bigger. That was a pain and different screw finding was a bitch. Ill post pics of what all three of the stages look like original bright bulbs not HID then my HID. I'd recommend this purchase to anyone

for your rain/snow visibilty, and every one eleses vision who is looking at your lights while driving, please order 4300K color bulbs. The blue will do you no good on road. 4300K is closer to halogen, but brighter, with less glare. You will be able to see better in the rain at night with the lower color. Also, I dont know about your kit, if it is A/C or D/C kit. The D/C ballists will turn the lights bluer over time and tend to flicker alot more.

plus one for going with a lower color temp, OEM is usually 3700 I think, most kits only go down to about 4300 ish which is a hell of a lot better on a dark rainy night than 6k or higher.

I guess there's no turning you back at this point, so do as suggested and aim those suckers low enough so that all of that bright light you're scattering everywhere won't blind oncoming drivers as bad.

and no one is bashing you, just trying to 'nudge' you in the right direction, which is a proper retrofit with projecters. I made the same mistake in both the plug and play kit and the color temp on my first go around but a well spent $300 at TRS got me retarded bright lights with a beautiful cutoff. I see really well, and the 6000 pound missile coming at me at 70mph can still see well, food for thought...

Thanks for your guesses input. I personally don't see we'll a dark which made me looks for other lights. Yes they are aimed low at the moment need some re adjusting. But overall well off

"5,500–6,000 K = Vertical daylight, electronic flash.." No one needs that much definition! I mean really who cares if you can tell what shade of red the car in front of you is as long as you know it's there and red And seriously glasses, amber flat non-scrip' glasses do wonders, even better is to spend the 50-100 and get the doc to hook you up. Even with good eyes he can make a world of difference.

I really kinda like the 'crazy" LED ring on these. But I won't run lights without proper fresnel lenses. These style only have the reflectors for focus, same with the projectors I've seen. Fresnel's put the light in a nice tight beam. With just a eliptical back reflector the light scatters all over hell and back after the focal point.

I really like the euro lenses. And run my lights in a similar pattern, drivers side low passenger side wide right. This keeps my light off other cars(low), and gives me good visibility of the line and inbound wild life (and of course the white line i gotta stare at when ... well you know ... badly adjusted lights come whizzing at me

Sorry I've been trying to get my starter done. There in but not the HID they come with just some bright lights another set. Led isn't hooked up but will be tomorrow have pics up soon and I looks the euro way thanks for the idea!

There not the hid kit ones but they're brighter than halogens. Il show a pic tonight. Since I need to adjust them

There ya go lights. There not bad for not being HID no one has flashed me either.
