Bosal exhaust-anyone else have this problem?

I started my truck yesterday to move it and heard an awful clanking underneath as it turned over. I let it run for a few seconds and the clanking stopped once the engine evened out. When I shut it down the clanking returned until the engine stopped turning. I realized it was the flange where the downpipe meets the cat banging against the housing for the torsion bar bolts after I had my wife start the truck while I laid underneath. I knew it was a tight fit when I put it in-did anyone else's come out like this or was mine slightly bent wrong? I can't think of any way to pull it away from the housing other than to move the exhaust hangers on the rear crossmember over some, but that would be a huge PITA. Just curious if anyone else who did the Bosal replacement exhaust had this happen?
