"Boomerang" shackles

Does anyone produce bolt-on "boomerang" shackles for our trucks? Just wondering, because I've only seen regular lift shackles.

just curious, what is a boomerang shackle, is it just boomerang shaped or what? and what is the benefit of them over normal shackles?

They increase leaf travel by lettin the back eye of the leaf to articulate around behind the back end of the frame rail. Seen em for heeps and whatnot, but never for yotas... Bet I could fab up some at work. Just need to find some new bushins...

Think I just might make me some...

so they went on nicely and i only had a couple of problems, first i did the stupid thing and ordered 2 pair or shackles soon figuring out that they dont work on the back second thing is the customer service of SORD sucks they don't post anything on there web site about these shackles being only for the front and they also say that they come with aluminum spacers for the shackles and as you can plainly see in the pic they come with like a rubbery plastic spacer also they don't tell you if there out of stock on any items you just kinda figure it out when they don't show up for a month so i was pretty upset with the lack of customer service they couldn't answer any of my e-mails i cant tell you enough how poor it is

When using those boomerang shackles do you use the stock spring hanger or put a drop hanger on, and can you use a drop hanger with them

i think the main reason for them is so you can run the RUF pack up front w/o changing the hanger it worked for me

Funny thing about the boomerang shackles is that they don't do anything unless your springs are longer. And in that case, you should move your hanger anyways because a boomerang won't help with travel.
