Bolt size for engine stand

Howdy,

Im getting ready to put my rebuilt short block togather for my ret swap. I got this engine basically in pieces and dont have any of the bolts. Does anyone know the size of bolt i need to get it on my engine stand. The info would really help me out. Thx

umm...it just mounts on the tranny side. Just take the bolts that mount the tranny to the block and use those.

edit: if they're not long enough, you can go to a hardware store and find longer bolts. If you can't figure out the thread pitch just find a nut that screws on to it and find matching bolts. You also might need some big washers if the engine stand's bolt holes are too big.

I used the 2 long ones from the tranny and borrowed 2 more from the frame by the front axel.

Yea i needed 2.5" and they were $3.25 a pop. The price stunned me but had to fork the cash. Argh ace there so spendy. There the only place around here that actually has every nut an bolt i could ever need.
