Blown out OME shock!!

well over the weekend trailered my ski (standup weights maybe 300..) from Va to Maryland on a tray right off the rear hitch i blew out a OME shock.. Is there any shock for a 94 runner thats more heavy duty then an OME?? where can i get them!

x2, i have NEVER heard anything bad about OME shocks or components

Agreed, sometimes shocks just do that. If you want to go bigger and better go Bilstien, and I've heard Edelbrock shocks are pretty stout. I've also had great success with BDS shocks, they are pretty beefy. Doesche Tech also makes a great shock absorber.

i have had these shocks for over a year! been very good and if i cant find beefy ones ill ordered more! I have NEVER jumped the truck or anything to damage them.. been used with OME 901s

you will ave to get adapters.

Our gen and probably 3rds and 4ths are eye/Stem.
The 1st gen and pick ups are eye/eye.

I got an adapter from 4wheel parts made by pro comp. Thing is beefy.
Much easier to change out shocks now. i pretty much loath stem style shocks.
