Blown HG - Which Material?

I searched and came up with no conclusive evidence for which material is superior / which one just works.

My eBay gasket set came with graphite ones that I accidentally destroyed on installation. So, now i'm back to looking for a new set. I found more graphite ones online, mls, and OEM. Which work, which suck, and which are gonna cost like $600 to install.

PS: How does everyone install the cross exhaust with the heads on? I tried installing the heads with that pipe installed and that's how i ended up gouging my new hg.
