Blown Head Gasket or.....? '93 truck 3.0
Truck would start, idle briefly at about 400 rpm then die. Battery is new, truck was just tuned up in March and was running flawlessly until now. Checked the oil, it's clean and filled sufficiently. Checked the radiator and the fluid was clean and filled. Something made me check the coolant overflow and I found it to be brown and smelled burnt (see picture). Is this a sign of a blown head gasket?! I stopped there so I haven't checked the other maybe symptoms such as the fuel pump because the "oil" like fluid in the coolant overflow made me instantly think bad head gasket. I haven't checked for compression yet....What do you think?

A few signs of a blown HG are:
- Milky oil (water in oil)
- Excessive white smoke out the tail pipe
- Having to add coolant often
- Strong smell of antifreeze
