Blown Head Gasket?

Hey there,

I'm new on here....just wanted to get some feedback on my '87 toyota pickup. I have been having problems with coolant leaking somewhere.....since it was not visible on the ground i checked my oil....sure enough my oil has water in it....Just wondering if it is worth it to pull the head and get it resurfaced (if its not cracked) or if I should just get a new or re-built motor....Just some more info on the pickup: it has 190,000 miles on it, the body is in perfect condition and it has a turbo...also what kinda of price range am I looking at to get it fixed?

do a cylinder compression test first if all 4 are good pull the water pump and make sure the timing chain did not wear a hole in the timing chain cover.

That's what I am assuming happened....the timing chaing wore a hole in the cover....It's going to my mechanic tonight so I guess we will see....You will have to excuse me because im a 20 yr old girl, Love my pickup, just don't know a whole lot about the mechanic side of things....
