black or blue color poll??
My 95 4runner's white exterior is in need for a fresh paint job...never been fond of the white, wanting to change it to a color option origionaly offered by Toyota: black or dark blue pearl. What say ya'll? black or blue???? If anyone has pics of their 4runner with either these color please post!!!!!
Thanks......

I like the dark blue, i guess i'm sorta fond of the black bc i previously owned a Jeep Wrangler which was black.....my ARB front bumper is black and can't decide if I want to go blue or black on the Toyota.....just ran across an old 95 4runner brochure and both the blue and black are profiled in the pictures and they are both awsome.....anyone have a black 4runner they can post??????/////

black rattle can bedliner would be my choice. it's like my favorite paint these days - i've already done my motorcycle and my scooter with it and it looks great.
i saw recently on an Xtreme4x4 episode, they used the same rattle can bedliner on a buggy to do a custom paint job. the paint job was pretty slick -- they did the base coat as the bedliner for texture, then went over that with silver metallic, then went over the top of that with a transparent cherry red paint. the overall color was a textured silvery-red. i'm sure it can easily be duplicated with blue and might look pretty badass. hmm...i might have to take my bike back apart at the end of the season...
i dunno though, i've always been a fan of olive drab green paint jobs, with black trim. i guess it all depends on what color your interior is if you want it to match.

just got back from the gym and there was a 3rd gen. 4runner that I parked beside and it was a dark brown color....very sharp 4runner....it prolly would go nice on my 4runner and wouldnt clash too bad with my tan interior,,,,anyone know if this color came on the 2nd gen 4runners????

x2 on dark colors showing every flaw in your paint.
since it's already white now, white would be the easiest to do since your engine bay and door jambs will all match. i would do a 2-tone white up top, black on bottom perhaps in a satin finish.
i've seen a few brown 1st gen 4runners. dunno if i've ever seen a brown 2nd gen. my old 87, 2nd gen pickup was brown. it's actually quite a nice color when it's not oxidized.
