BJ lifted 1988 truck

Got everything from 4crawlers.
1" body lift,1.5 BJ spacers, diff drop kit, stabilizer bar drop kit, bumper lift,3" lift rear shackles + add a leafs.I am able to fit my 15 inch MT classic II rims and BFG AT 33x12.5 tires and turn with ease.
I just removed my valence to clear the front.I used the longer Pro-Comp shocks in the front and will later get either the Bilstein 10" travel or Pro-Comp shocks in the rear.I also have 4:88 precision gears front and back.I will work on the motor later and finish up the exhaust first.

That's exactly how I want my runner to sit when I decide to lift it. Nice!

I have an 87 like yours, just wondering how much $$ you ended up having in the lift parts for that project. I can't decide if I want to go with what you did or try a 3" BL.
Did you install the parts yourself? Wondering how difficult your parts were to put on.
Thanks,
Duane

I ended spending about $375 total on the 4crawlers lift with shipping. Its just a lot of time to put everything together. My 4:88 front and back gears came from my other truck that I swap with 4:56 gears from a V6 auto 4runner.I put everything within a week after work.I found a broken boot CV axle and a broken ball joint. All of that got changed before moving on.My MT rims $400 I had it for a while and picked up the 4 tires at Costco for $640 installed.
I decided to lift the truck because I saw my friends 4runner had those ball joint & 3" body lift.
