better ride out of the front suspension

1988 toyota pickup with a 22re, is there any way to soften the front suspension with out losing the ride height of my truck?? Stock torsion bar and ride height, 35 inch tall tires.

add ball joint spacers, relax the torsion bars back, so the truck sits at its original height.

Won't help much, but it does do some.

A good quality shock helps too.

I have rancho 5000 shocks, and they are new. The front suspension feels so stiff, that the front wheels want to jump off the ground on little bumps or smaller rocks.

Hmm. Well, I have always found ranchos to be craptastic, but if they are new, they should be fine.

Do the BJ spacers.

I have no idea.

I have 1.5". I imagine most any height would work.

They are only available in 1.5 as far as I know. SDORI in San Diego is the only compnay that makes them AFAIK.
