best place to buy on line

Where's the best place on line to purchase parts and accessories such as off road bumpers and parts for my 1990 4x4?

My favorite place for "Auto Supply Store" parts (aftermarket) is RockAuto. I've ordered a fair amount from them.

My favorite place for dealer-only parts is ... my local dealer. But I find toyotapartsoverstock.com a good resource for finding part numbers and the like.

I have no source for "accessories" like off-road gear.

1991 pickup speedometer cable

I tried rockauto, JCW, many other websites and local parts stores, I have not been able to find a speedometer cable for my 1991 Toyota pick up , basic 22RE. Finding a part number has been unsuccessful also. Any suggestions?

(I removed the previous post about an eBay part because it wasn't correct)

I use eBay a lot for replacement parts, as well as a favorite, rockauto. rockauto has many closeout specials for older vehicles at attractive prices.

Note that the automatic takes a different cable than the manual. Always best to use your own VIN.

That took me about 30 seconds, using the link given above.

Its "Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day.

Teach a man to fish and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day".

Good old Amazon.com has good prices, even some genuine Toyota parts if you find the part number first. Some other places for better parts are www.lceperformance.com and www.marlincrawler.com

Rockauto has definitely been good. But, beware. They have some really good stuff on there and some really crappy ˟˟˟˟. Look at photos when you can to "see" the part before you buy it. And pay attention to the little heart icons next to products, that means that the part rarely gets returned so most people like it.
